Selected from a nationwide pool of applicants, I traveled
to the sun-soaked hills of Oaxaca to create editorial beverage content at the source studying alongside legendary photographer Jordan Hughes and leaving my mark on every palenque we touched.

Oaxaca, Mexico is a destination that demands presence, and I arrived with an open heart, my favorite camera, and a trigger finger that doesn't miss.
In 2025, I was selected among eight photographers nationwide to join Banhez Mezcal's immersive co-op program in Oaxaca, Mexico.
I worked alongside the legendary beverage photographer Jordan Hughes and a group of seasoned creative professionals, visiting four distinct palenques and working directly with the co-op founder to capture the living, breathing story of this remarkable spirit and its homeland.
I came to shoot. I stayed to lead.
While the residency was designed as a learning experience, my contributions in art direction, brand strategy, and F&B visual storytelling made an impression that extended well beyond the lense. The group and the founder took notice. The content we produced was rich, editorial, and deeply rooted in the soul of the destination.
This project is proof of what I believe most: that destination and beverage, when treated with intention and reverence, often produce the most moving stories a brand can tell.
And I am fluent in both.
